Quickdown runs on a single, modest server that we pay for out of pocket. We don't charge for the free plan, and in return we can't promise any particular level of uptime, performance, or availability. Because hardware is limited, only one server runs at a time across all accounts — others wait in a queue and start automatically once a slot frees up.
We do our best to keep things running, but we do not guarantee backups and are not liable for any loss of worlds, builds, configurations, plugins, or other data, however it happens — including server errors, hardware failure, idle auto-stop, account bans, or the service being discontinued. If something matters to you, back it up yourself using the file manager's download feature.
Quickdown is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service — including the free plan's limits — at any time, with or without notice.
Don't use Quickdown for illegal content, attacks on other systems, spam, abuse of shared hardware (e.g. crypto mining, deliberately starving other users of capacity), or anything that puts the server or other users at risk. We can suspend or ban an account and its server, without notice, for violating these terms or for any other reason we consider necessary to keep the service running fairly for everyone.
We may open up donations in the future to help cover hosting costs. Donating may unlock extra features or perks for supporters, but donations are voluntary contributions, not a purchase of guaranteed service, uptime, or support — the disclaimers above still apply.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continuing to use Quickdown after a change means you accept the updated terms.
